What services are you providing?

We are offering jewelry modeling services including: custom jewelry design, 3D CAD jewelry line development, 3D Photo Rendering and Custom Orders.

Will I be charged for modifications or revisions of the CAD?

Most minor changes and modifications will be done free of charge, but any major change or request after the model has been finished will be charged accordingly (the price will be discussed and explained to you, and the process will start only after confirmation). Our primary concern is that you are 100% happy with the design. We encourage you to communicate with us if you have any questions or concerns regarding with your design.

Should I place a custom order if there isn't a style available?

Yes, absolutely. We offer a full range of special order, unique designs, or redesign to your ideations. We can reproduce any design for your stone, modify or combine elements of our previous designs to create your own unique design. 

You can pick your stone setting such as bead bright, surface prong , bead bright with center bezel set, delicate french , scallop prong, these can all have either sharp corners, cut corners, or round. You can also change your center stone, for example if you would like a princess cut diamond instead of a round diamond. Other diamond shapes include ; radiant, emerald, cushion, cushion brilliant, oval, heart, etc.

We offer many setting styles that you can choose to set the diamonds or colored stones in your jewelries including all the following: Basket, Double Prong Basket, Claw Prong Basket, 4 Prong Peg Head, 6 Prong Peg Head, V Prong Peg Head, Bar, Bezel, Split Bezel, U Setting, Scalloped Setting , Pave, Micro Pave, and more.

Can I place a rushed order?

Please let us know. We will do our best to provide on a timely basis with greatest attention to requirement needed.

How is your custom order work?

At SK Custom Jewelry, we absolutely love working on custom and personalized orders! We have a simple procedure for your custom order. The steps are:

1.      Start a conversation with us by sending us the message asking for custom jewelry or a quote. You will get a reply as soon as we have your message. Or you can book our studio appointments for in-person consultations.

2.      Please send us a photo or a sketch with your requirements for us to review. The more details you are able to provide, the better we are able to understand your custom project which will help us to narrow down your estimate’s range. If you don’t know where to start, we can provide you with further information or discuss the idea together.

3.      We will review all the information and give you a quote. We are happy to provide a free no-obligation quote for the creation of your custom jewelry. We encourage you to communicate with us if you have any questions or concerns regarding with your design.

4.      After receiving your confirmation, full payment is due before any order is processed and produced.  We will send you 3D Photo renderings for you to review before we make production.


5.  Once your custom jewelry is done, we will send the images of the completed project toward your custom order and ship your finished jewelry. You will receive the shipping information via email.

Quality Issues under warranty

SK Custom Jewelry stands behind the quality of our products and offer a complimentary 2 years warranty on all handmade and custom jewelry purchased through us directly on our website.

The SK Custom Jewelry Manufacturing Warranty is effective from the date of purchase, only for SK Custom Jewelry purchases, and it is non-transferrable.

We offer benefits like polishing, prong tightening, chain repairs and steam cleaning - all 100% covered for 2 years from the date of order delivery. 

If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, please email us at hello@skcustomjewelry.com with your order number and clear photos/video of your jewelry item with the area of concern, and any helpful details about how or when the issue was noticed. Our team will review the images and/or videos and information provided, to assess whether the repair may fall under our manufacturing warranty (Terms and conditions applied, please click here) .

If we determine your jewelry is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will provide instructions to you so you can send the jewelry to us for repair at no cost to you.

If we determine that the damage is not caused by a manufacturing defect, we will send you an price quote for the repair before the work is performed. Upon your approval and payment, we will then provide the instructions, paperwork, and a prepaid insured shipping label for your item to be sent in for service. Once received, we will complete the work within 1-4 weeks and ship it back to you.

General Repairs

Sometimes due to regular wear and tear, your jewelry will need to be repaired and maintained. These services are available at SK Custom Jewelry, and we will be happy to help. Since our customers are very important to us, we will always do our best to keep the repair costs low, at the same time ensuring the integrity of the piece. Remember, repairs or services performed on your jewelry by any third-party retailer or service company that is not affiliated with SK Custom Jewelry will void your warranty with us. Some common types of repairs we offer are replacing side stones, tightening prongs, re-polishing, re-plating rhodium, or a thorough cleaning. For orders shipped internationally, we cannot offer ring resizing or repairs since taxes are levied every time a jewelry item crosses the border.

Ring Sizing

If you order a ring and love it, but didn’t quite get the ring size right, don’t worry! We’ll be happy to resize your ring one time for FREE within 14 days after your order ships for U.S. orders. It’s simple: Ship the ring to us and we’ll ship it back. If we determine that we are unable to size the ring up or down to the new size, we will inform you and give you an option to either place a special order for the size required or have it shipped back to you as it is. Please note, eternity-style rings will need to be re-made in the correct ring size (an additional fee will be applied).

We will be happy to resize your ring for US orders, excluding all eternity-style rings for an additional fee. Please note, that we will resize rings as long as we can maintain the integrity of the ring. If a ring is resized too many times, it may not be able to be resized again. At that point, you may opt for a new setting or other repairs at an additional charge in order to get the ring to fit.

Due to the duties and taxes imposed during importation, we are unable to provide ring resizing services for international orders. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

General Care

Please be more careful and remove your jewelry before doing certain activities such as:

  • Strenuous activity that involves rubbing against metal such as exercise classes or weight lifting.
  • Cleaning with harsh chemicals such as bleach, especially anything with Chlorine... and make sure to avoid swimming pools and hot tubs with Chlorine, which can cause discoloring and damage to fine jewelry.
  • Also, you may want to avoid activities where your hands get extra dirty, as they can cause build-up on the jewelry (although it can usually be removed easily). This may include activities such as gardening, working with clay, cooking, or using lotion/oils. Please use extra caution with softer stones such as pearls, turquoise, and opals.

In order to avoid tarnishing, it is important to remove any item that is Gold-Dipped Silver before getting it wet or using lotions and perfumes.

Cleaning

If your jewelry becomes dull or dirty, we recommend using a soft brush (a make-up brush or soft toothbrush) and an organic cleaning spray or non-detergent soap. Rinse with warm water and air dry. You can also use a lint-free jewelry polishing cloth. If your jewelry needs a deep cleaning, please take it to your local jeweler.

Jewelry Storage

The best way to store your SK custom jewelry is in the box you received the piece in. Any soft fabric bag or box will also do, as long as it is clean and dry.

Shipping & Returns

Do you ship worldwide?

We ship to select international countries with USPS Priority International. We are not responsible for tax and duty fees.

What are your shipping methods within the USA?

We ship all orders for FedEx Priority 2 Days fully insured but cannot ship to any P.O. box.

We are not responsible for delayed delivery caused by carrier.

How long do orders take to process?

  • Items that are in stock will ship out within 1-5 business days.
  • Custom orders and made to order items typically take 1-2 weeks before shipping.
  • If your order is a rush item please contact us and we will do everything we can to get it to you on time!

Can I track my order?

Yes! We will send you a tracking number as soon as the items ships.

Can I return or exchange a product?

If you are not entirely pleased with a product you purchased, SK Custom Jewelry will accept non personalized items for exchange or return within 14 days of your invoice date (Domestic Orders). Item(s) must be returned in new and re-sellable condition with original jewelry box. If you would like to make a return please contact us for a return authorization. No refund will be granted without return authorization. Once we receive the returned order, our Quality Assurance team will inspect and verify the condition of the returned item. Inspection time may take up to seven (7) business days. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method.

For credit card refunds, please allow up to one monthly billing cycle in order for your credit to appear. Returns will be credited minus a return shipping cost. All shipping charges are non refundable.

For your protection, please pack your returns in the original box with the return authorization form. Return your order with an insured courier (e.g., FedEx, UPS) and retain your receipt. Once your return is processed, the purchasing card will be credited for the merchandise amount only. We cannot refund shipping charges on return items.

Personalized items, special orders cannot be returned. Personalized pieces include any item that is engraved, custom name necklaces, compass charms, and any custom order. 

All International orders are final sale.

SK Custom Jewelry is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit.
